Abstract submissions should align with the congress theme and may include, but are not limited to, the following topics:
- Equity, ethics and politics of vaccination
- National and regional immunization programmes
- Vaccine-preventable diseases and their epidemiology
- Vaccine safety and pharmacovigilance
- Vaccine hesitancy, communication, and confidence
- Immunology and immune responses to vaccines
- New vaccine development, vaccine technology and platforms
- Maternal, infant, adolescent, adult, and elderly vaccination
- Vaccination in special populations, including immunocompromised individuals, people with chronic diseases, and pregnant women
- RSV prevention, including maternal vaccination and monoclonal antibodies
- Pneumococcal vaccines
- HPV vaccination
- Influenza vaccination
- COVID-19 and other emerging infectious diseases
- Travel vaccines and outbreak preparedness
- Health economics, policy, and implementation research related to vaccines
- Basic, translational, clinical, and public health vaccine research
Abstract Guidelines
Language: Abstracts must be submitted in English only.
The abstract body is limited to 300 words. The 300-word limit excludes:
- Title
- Author names
- Author affiliations
Abstracts should be structured using the following sections:
- Background/Aims
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
Additional requirements:
- Language: English
- Tables/Figures: Not permitted
- Presentation preference: Authors may indicate a preference for oral, poster presentation or either format; however, the final presentation format will be determined by the Scientific Committee.
- Original work: Abstracts must contain original data. Submissions stating only that “results will be discussed” will not be accepted.
Eligibility
- The presenting author must attend the congress onsite.
- The applicant submitting the abstract should be the presenter of the accepted abstract.
Notice of Acceptance
Notification of abstract acceptance will be sent by email to the presenting author only by February 14, 2027. If you have not received a notification by this date, please contact: asvac2027bangkok@gmail.com
Presenters of accepted abstracts are required to complete congress registration and payment of the registration fee for their abstracts to be included in the official abstract e-book.
Failure to comply with the presentation and registration requirements may result in the abstract being excluded from the abstract e-book and the presentation slot being withdrawn.
